The Northshore Panthers basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Slidell Tigers to 69 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fontainebleau for a 5A District 6 contest on Tuesday, January 31.

The Tigers (9-13) will now prepare for their contest against Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA). The Bulldogs enter the 5A District 6 contest with a 3-18 record. In their last contest, Fontainebleau was nudged by St. Paul (Covington, LA), 58-35, in a league contest.
