The Arkansas City Bulldogs basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Valley Center Hornets to 39 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Andover for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division II contest on Tuesday, February 21. Arkansas City will meet a Trojans team coming off a 38-33 league loss to Central (Andover, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 11-7.

The Hornets (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against McPherson (McPherson, KS). The Bullpups enter the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division II contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, McPherson was defeated by Eisenhower (Goddard, KS), 76-60, in a league contest.
