The Clarksdale Wildcats basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Center Hill Mustangs to 37 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 8-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hernando for a 5A Region 1 contest on Friday, January 27. Clarksdale will meet a Tigers team coming off a 58-55 league loss to Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 9-14.

The Mustangs (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS). The enter the 5A Region 1 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Lake Cormorant nudged Hernando (Hernando, MS), 58-55, in a league contest.
