The North Star Navigators basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Lincoln East Spartans to 32 in the Navigators non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Navigators now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbus for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. North Star will confront a Discoverers team coming off a 45-34 non-league loss to Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE). The Discoverers record now stands at 3-11.

The Spartans (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Silver Hawk enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Lincoln Southwest was routed by Millard North (Omaha, NE), 61-41, in a non-league contest.
