The Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ) basketball crushed the host Sahuarita Mustangs (Sahuarita, AZ), 59-34 in Friday's league test.

The Cougars (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Cienega (Vail, AZ). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Cienega walloped Santa Rita (Tucson, AZ), 58-44, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 4-17 record. They take the field next when they host Desert View for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Sahuarita will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 59-53 non-league loss to Pueblo (Tucson, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-11.
