Ohio High School Basketball - Northwest can't hold off Strongsville

The Strongsville Mustangs basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Northwest Indians to 56 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Sunday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Medina for a Northeast Ohio - Valley contest on Friday, January 20. Strongsville will meet a Battling Bees team coming off a 59-57 non-league loss to GlenOak (Canton, OH). The Battling Bees record now stands at 1-8.

The Indians (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson (Massillon, OH). The Polar Bears enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Jackson nudged Lake (Uniontown, OH), 48-43, in a league contest.
