The Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME) basketball knocked off the visiting Penquis Valley Patriots (Milo, ME), 70-60 in Friday's league test.

The Red Devils (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Bucksport (Bucksport, ME). The Golden Bucks go into the C East test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Bucksport notched a victory over Dexter (Dexter, ME), 54-52, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Lee Academy for a C East contest on Monday, January 27. Penquis Valley will battle a Pandas team coming off a 91-56 non-league win over Schenck (East Millinocket, ME). The Pandas record now stands at 12-4.
