The Vista Grande Spartans basketball team (Casa Grande, AZ), was overwhelmed 74-51 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ)

The Eagles now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centennial for a non-league battle on Friday, December 27. Ironwood will confront a Coyotes team coming off a 77-75 non-league win over Joy Christian (Glendale, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 3-6.

The Spartans (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ). The Falcons come into the II Section VI battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Catalina Foothills was overwhelmed by Christian Brothers (St. Louis, MO), 72-59, in a non-league battle.
