The St. Jude Educational Institute Pirates (Montgomery, AL) basketball nipped the visiting Ridgeway Roadrunners (Memphis, TN), 64-62 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Pirates (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Lee (Montgomery, AL). The Generals go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record.
