January 30, 2014: Wayne, NJ 07470 The Lakeland Regional Lancers basketball team (Wanaque, NJ), was overwhelmed 84-62 in Thursday's league battle with the host Wayne Hills Patriots (Wayne, NJ)
The Patriots now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Milford for a Big North - Independence battle on Saturday, February 1. Wayne Hills will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 63-51 league win over Fair Lawn (Fair Lawn, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 9-4.
The Lancers (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Manchester Regional (Haledon, NJ). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Manchester Regional was overwhelmed by Boonton (Boonton, NJ), 54-46, in a non-league battle.
