The South Mountain Jaguars basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Goldwater Bulldogs to 49 in the Jaguars league triumph on Thursday.

The Jaguars now sport a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Independence for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 17. South Mountain will play a Patriots squad coming off a 42-36 non-league loss to Youngker (Buckeye, AZ). The Patriots record now stands at 3-4.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Flagstaff Eagles (Flagstaff, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 16. Goldwater will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 67-44 non-league win over Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ).
