Illinois High School Basketball - Southeastern can't hold off Orr
December 9, 2013: Chicago, IL 60624 The Orr Spartans basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Southeastern Jungaleers to 39 in the Spartans non-league victory on Monday.
The Spartans now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Lawndale College Prep for a Chicago Public Red - West contest on Monday, December 16. Orr will battle a Phoenix team coming off a 64-62 league win over Westinghouse (Chicago, IL). The Phoenix record now stands at 3-2.
The Jungaleers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ypsilanti (Ypsilanti, MI). The Grizzlies come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Ypsilanti held off Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI), 68-37, in a non-league bout.
