December 8, 2015: Wyoming, MI 49548 The Cedar Springs Red Hawks basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Kelloggsville Rockets to 39 in the Red Hawks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Red Hawks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holland for a non-league contest on Friday, December 11. Cedar Springs will battle a Dutch team coming off a 50-34 non-league loss to West Ottawa (Holland, MI). The Dutch record now stands at 0-1.
The Rockets (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Western Michigan Christian (Muskegon, MI). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Western Michigan Christian was defeated by Calvin Christian (Grandville, MI), 49-30, in a non-league contest.
