The Aliquippa Quips basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Kennedy Catholic Golden Eagles to 37 in the Quips non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Quips now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Our Lady of the Sacred Heart for a WPIAL AA 5 contest on Tuesday, January 5. Aliquippa will meet a Chargers team coming off a 60-56 non-league loss to Steel Valley (Munhall, PA). The Chargers record now stands at 6-3.

The Golden Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record.
