The Forest Bearcats basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting West Lauderdale Knights to 50 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bearcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Scott Central for a 2A Region 6 contest on Tuesday, November 17. Forest will meet a Rebels team coming off a 65-60 league loss to Leake County (Walnut Grove, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 1-1.

The Knights (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
