The Lawrence Central Bears basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Pike Red Devils to 63 in the Bears league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Decatur Central for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 19. Lawrence Central will battle a Hawks team coming off a 58-45 league loss to Mooresville (Mooresville, IN). The Hawks record now stands at 2-4.

The Red Devils (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Crown Point (Crown Point, IN). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Crown Point nudged Munster (Munster, IN), 53-38, in a non-league contest.
