The Grand Ledge Comets basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Sexton Big Reds to 58 in the Comets league triumph on Tuesday.

The Comets now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holt for a Capital Area - Blue contest on Friday, January 22. Grand Ledge will meet a Rams team coming off a 49-48 league win over Jackson (Jackson, MI). The Rams record now stands at 6-3.
