The Vista Grande Spartans baseball team (Casa Grande, AZ), was overwhelmed 14-8 in Wednesday's league outing with the visiting Sahuarita Mustangs (Sahuarita, AZ)

The Mustangs now hold a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tucson for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 10. Sahuarita will confront a Badgers team coming off a 18-8 non-league loss to Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ). The Badgers record now stands at 14-7.

Next, the Spartans confront the Coolidge Bears (Coolidge, AZ) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 10. Vista Grande will attempt to advance on its 6-13 season record. The Bears go into the outing with a 11-7 record after their 11-2 non-league loss to Casa Grande (Casa Grande, AZ).
