Florida High School Baseball - Trinity Christian loses to Eagle's View
April 10, 2012: Jacksonville, FL 32221 The Eagle's View Warriors baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Trinity Christian Conquerors to 1 in the Warriors league victory on Tuesday.
The Warriors (13-8) will now prepare for their match against Bolles (Jacksonville, FL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 17-4 record. In their last match, Bolles edged Fernandina Beach (Fernandina Beach, FL), 6-1, in a non-league match.
The Conquerors (15-19) will now prepare for their match against Bishop Snyder (Jacksonville, FL). The Cardinals come into the 3A District 2 challenge with a 12-9 record. In their last challenge, Bishop Snyder nipped Forrest (Jacksonville, FL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Game Summary
Following a tough victory over Episcopal the Warriors played an early afternoon game vs. district opponent Trinity Christian. Trinity jumped on top early scoring 2 runs in the 1st. & 1 in the 2nd. innings. EVA got a run in the 3rd. on a sac fly by McNeil knocking in BB who reached on a walk. That would be it however for EVA as it was 3 up - 3 down for the following 4 innings. Trinity tacked on 4 runs in the 4th. and another run in the 6th. for the final 8 - 1 margin. Eagle's View plays again at Bolles on Friday night at 6:00.
