The Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC) basketball crushed the visiting Daniel Lions (Central, SC), 78-52 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bears (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Wren (Piedmont, SC). The Hurricanes go into the AAAA Region I test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Wren walloped Pickens (Pickens, SC), 69-45, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Greenville for a AAAA Region I test on Friday, January 19. Daniel will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 70-49 non-league win over Carolina Day (Asheville, NC). The Red Raiders record now stands at 14-1.
