The Iona Prep Gaels basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the host Xaverian Clippers to 54 in the Gaels non-league victory on Saturday.

The Gaels now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Hayes for a Catholic AA - New York contest on Monday, January 15. Iona Prep will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 81-74 league win over Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-1.
