The Alief Hastings Bears basketball team (Houston, TX), dropped 64-52 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX)

The Hurricanes now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lamar Consolidated for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 7. Fort Bend Hightower will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 61-38 non-league win over Pasadena (Pasadena, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-2.

The Bears (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, West Oso prevailed over King (Corpus Christi, TX), 71-62, in a non-league battle.
