The Lions now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Louis Catholic for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 30. Lafayette will battle a Saints team coming off a 56-54 non-league win over Kaplan (Kaplan, LA). The Saints record now stands at 4-8.
The Gators (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Midland (Midland, LA). The Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 10-12 record. In their last battle, Midland prevailed over Holden (Holden, LA), 47-40, in a non-league battle.
