The St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) basketball nipped the host Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA), 62-60 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Cougars (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Jackson Academy (Jackson, MS). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Jackson Academy got by Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS), 51-41, in a league test.
