The North Fayette Valley basketball team (West Union, IA), was nudged 55-49 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Mott Pirates (Postville, IA)

The Pirates now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lyle/Pacelli for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 16. Mott will battle a Athletics team coming off a 72-61 league loss to LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN). The Athletics record now stands at 2-3.
