Idaho High School Basketball - Columbia knocked off by Fruitland
December 14, 2017: Fruitland, ID 83619 The Fruitland Grizzlies basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Columbia Wildcats to 54 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ontario for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Fruitland will meet a Tigers team coming off a 53-33 non-league win over Wood River (Hailey, ID). The Tigers record now stands at 4-2.
The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Capital (Boise, ID). The Eagles enter the 5A Southern Idaho contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Capital was outscored by Rigby (Rigby, ID), 46-40, in a non-league contest.
