March 9, 2024: Laredo, TX 78043 The Nixon Mustangs baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Madison Mavericks to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Mustangs (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Martin (Laredo, TX). The Tigers go into the 5A Region IV District 30 match with a 8-4 record. In their last match, Martin gained a win over St. Augustine (Laredo, TX), 9-0, in a non-league match.
The Mavericks (6-11) will now prepare for their match against Reagan (San Antonio, TX). The Rattlers go into the 6A Region IV District 28 match with a 14-5 record. In their last match, Reagan gained a win over Tivy (Kerrville, TX), 12-0, in a non-league match.
