The Star Valley Braves (Afton, WY) basketball nipped the host Centennial Patriots (Boise, ID), 50-45 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Braves (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Rigby (Rigby, ID). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Rigby was tipped by Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ), 64-61, in a non-league test.

The Patriots now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Borah for a 5A Southern Idaho test on Tuesday, January 3. Centennial will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 57-53 non-league loss to Caldwell (Caldwell, ID). The Lions record now stands at 4-4.
