The Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA), 69-49 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Centurions (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA). The Trailblazers go into the non-league test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Sierra Canyon notched a victory over Valley Torah (Valley Village, CA), 90-53, in a non-league test.

The Lancers now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to West for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 27. Grant will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 75-58 league win over South (Torrance, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-6.
