Virginia High School Basketball - Strasburg knocked off by Virginia High
January 21, 2023: Bristol, VA 24201 The Virginia High Bearcats basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Strasburg Rams to 39 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bearcats now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marion for a Southwest contest on Tuesday, January 24. Virginia High will meet a Scarlet Hurricanes team coming off a 57-43 league win over Richlands (Richlands, VA). The Scarlet Hurricanes record now stands at 8-7.
The Rams (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Clarke County (Berryville, VA). The Eagles enter the Bull Run contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Clarke County ran past East Rockingham (Elkton, VA), 64-42, in a league contest.
