The Longhorns now possess a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host United South for a 6A Region IV District 30 battle on Tuesday, January 24. United will confront a Panthers team coming off a 59-52 league loss to Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 19-9.

The Bulldogs (10-13) will now prepare for their battle against Eagle Pass (Eagle Pass, TX). The Eagles come into the 6A Region IV District 30 battle with a 16-14 record. In their last battle, Eagle Pass beat Del Rio (Del Rio, TX), 55-50, in a league battle.
