West Virginia High School Football - Liberty topples Lincoln
September 12, 2014: Clarksburg, WV 26301 The Liberty Mountaineers (Clarksburg, WV) football defeated the visiting Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV), 34-7 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Mountaineers face the Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV) in a Big Ten bout, on Friday, September 19. Liberty will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Colts enter the bout with a 0-3 record after their 19-15 non-league loss to Braxton County (Sutton, WV).
The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV). The Bees enter the Big Ten bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, East Fairmont lost by Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV), 53-0, in a league bout.
