October 3, 2014: Pendleton, SC 29670 The Woodruff Wolverines football squad scored 40 points and limited the host Pendleton Bulldogs to 19 in the Wolverines league win on Friday.
The Wolverines now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Carolina Academy for a AA Region I battle on Friday, October 10. Woodruff will play a Trojans squad coming off a 29-22 league loss to Blacksburg (Blacksburg, SC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-4.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Powdersville Patriots (Greenville, SC) in a AA Region I match, on Friday, October 10. Pendleton will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 5-1 record after their 34-9 league win over Landrum (Landrum, SC).
