April 20, 2021: Atlanta, GA 30328 The Mount Vernon Mustangs baseball team (Atlanta, GA), was overwhelmed 18-0 in Tuesday's league outing with the visiting Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA)
The Wolves now hold a 22-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holy Innocents Episcopal for a A Private Region 5 outing on Thursday, April 22. Wesleyan will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 13-0 league win over Galloway (Atlanta, GA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 13-14.
Next, the Mustangs confront the Providence Christian Academy Storm (Lilburn, GA) in a A Private Region 5 outing, on Thursday, April 22. Mount Vernon will attempt to advance on its 9-11 season record. The Storm go into the outing with a 6-20 record after their 5-0 league loss to Hebron Christian Academy (Dacula, GA).
