The Porter Cowboys baseball team (Brownsville, TX), was overwhelmed 12-0 in Thursday's non-league outing with the visiting McAllen Bulldogs (McAllen, TX)

The Bulldogs now hold a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harlingen for a non-league outing on Friday, March 5. McAllen will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Pace (Brownsville, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-1.

Next, the Cowboys confront the Veterans Memorial Chargers (Brownsville, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 32 outing, on Tuesday, March 9. Porter will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Chargers go into the outing with a 3-6 record after their 10-3 non-league loss to Sharyland (Mission, TX).
