The Phillips Exeter Academy Lions football team (Exeter, NH), was ripped 40-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT)

The Beavers (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT). The Crimson Knights come into the Erickson challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Salisbury School trounced Williston Northampton (Easthampton, MA), 34-20, in a league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Phillips Academy for a Central New England challenge on Saturday, November 9. Phillips Exeter Academy will meet a Big Blues team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Worcester Academy (Worcester, MA). The Big Blues record now stands at 1-6.
