The St. George's Dragons football team (Middletown, RI), was beaten 27-16 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Thayer Academy Tigers (Braintree, MA)

The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Buckingham Browne & Nichols (Cambridge, MA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Buckingham Browne & Nichols was beaten by Governor's Academy (Byfield, MA), 21-20, in a league challenge.
