The Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) football defeated the visiting River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA), 35-14 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 20. Pleasant Valley will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 35-0 non-league win over El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA).

The Falcons (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Yuba City (Yuba City, CA). The Honkers enter the Capital Valley Conference bout with a 2-2 record.
