The Red Mountain Mountain Lions football squad scored 34 points and restricted the host Desert Ridge Jaguars to 14 in the Mountain Lions non-league victory on Friday.

The Mountain Lions now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cesar Chavez for a non-league battle on Friday, August 30. Red Mountain will face a Champions squad coming off a 53-0 non-league win over East (Anchorage, AK). The Champions record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Jaguars face the Westview Knights (Avondale, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 30. Desert Ridge will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
