October 25, 2019: Benton, LA 71006 The Southwood Cowboys football team (Shreveport, LA), was knocked off 44-25 in Friday's league challenge with the host Benton Tigers (Benton, LA)
The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Airline (Bossier City, LA). The Vikings come into the 5A District 1 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Airline was knocked off by Byrd (Shreveport, LA), 21-6, in a league challenge.
The Cowboys now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Parkway for a 5A District 1 challenge on Friday, November 1. Southwood will meet a Panthers team coming off a 33-14 league loss to Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-4.
