The The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) basketball felled the host Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX), 66-55 in Friday's league test.

The Cougars (12-6) will now prepare for their test against Heritage (Frisco, TX). The Coyotes go into the 4A Region II District 9 test with a 16-5 record. In their last test, Heritage defeated Wakeland (Frisco, TX), 80-63, in a league test.

The Raccoons now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Little Elm for a 4A Region II District 9 test on Tuesday, January 22. Frisco will clash with a Lobos squad coming off a 61-40 league win over Liberty (Frisco, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 14-5.
