The Stevenson Spartans basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Novi Wildcats to 50 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Churchill for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 22. Stevenson will meet a Chargers team coming off a 63-61 league win over Wayne Memorial (Wayne, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 4-6.

The Wildcats (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Saline (Saline, MI). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Saline was nudged by Skyline (Ann Arbor, MI), 53-47, in a league contest.
