Illinois High School Basketball - Minooka thwarts Bloomington
January 19, 2013: Minooka, IL 60447 The Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) basketball felled the visiting Bloomington Purple Raiders (Bloomington, IL), 65-56 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Indians (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Kankakee (Kankakee, IL). The Kays go into the non-league outing with a 2-11 record. In their last outing, Kankakee was topped by Maine South (Park Ridge, IL), 61-33, in a non-league outing.
The Purple Raiders now hold a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Galesburg for a non-league outing on Monday, January 21. Bloomington will encounter a Silver Streaks squad coming off a 37-30 non-league loss to Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Silver Streaks record now stands at 12-13.
