The Melvindale Cardinals basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Woodhaven Warriors to 23 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.

With the victory, Melvindale upgrades its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI) to play the Railsplitters in a Downriver challenge on Thursday, January 17. The Railsplitters come into the challenge with a record of 4-4.
