Mississippi High School Basketball - Corinth edges Biggersville
January 9, 2021: Corinth, MS 38834 The Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS) basketball nipped the visiting Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS), 53-49 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Warriors (8-2) will now prepare for their test against New Albany (New Albany, MS). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Region 1 test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, New Albany was tipped by Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS), 76-65, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Jumpertown for a 1A Region 1 test on Tuesday, January 12.
