The Piper Bengals basketball team scored 58 points and held the host McArthur Mustangs to 54 in the Bengals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bengals now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pompano Beach for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 14. Piper will meet a Golden Tornadoes team coming off a 56-55 non-league win over West Broward (Pembroke Pines, FL). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 1-3.

The Mustangs (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hollywood Hills (Hollywood, FL). The Spartans enter the 6A District 15 contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Hollywood Hills was nudged by Cypress Bay (Weston, FL), 58-17, in a non-league contest.
