The Marmion Cadets basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting St. Joseph Chargers to 44 in the Cadets league triumph on Friday.

The Cadets now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DePaul College Prep for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 6. Marmion will battle a Rams squad coming off a 66-56 league loss to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Rams record now stands at 7-2.

Next up, the Chargers play the Leo Lions (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Catholic - Blue bout, on Saturday, March 6. St. Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 68-62 league loss to Brother Rice (Chicago, IL).
