The Schulenburg Shorthorns (Schulenburg, TX) basketball nipped the host Sealy Tigers (Sealy, TX), 62-57 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Shorthorns (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Flatonia (Flatonia, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region IV District 28 test with a 5-0 record.

The Tigers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Snook for a non-league test on Monday, December 28.
