California High School Basketball - Monte Vista trounces Concord
May 18, 2021: Danville, CA 94526 The Monte Vista Mustangs (Danville, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Concord Minutemen (Concord, CA), 76-49 in Tuesday's league test.
The Mustangs (8-4) will now prepare for their test against De La Salle (Concord, CA). The Spartans go into the East Bay test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, De La Salle walloped Berkeley (Berkeley, CA), 46-45, in a non-league test.
The Minutemen now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Berean Christian for a Diablo - Valley test on Wednesday, May 19. Concord will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 57-42 league loss to Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-7.
