The Lafayette Commodores volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting DeSoto Central Jaguars to 1 in the Commodores non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Commodores now have a 20-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oxford for a non-league game on Thursday, October 5. Lafayette will confront a Chargers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Ocean Springs (Ocean Springs, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 21-15.
